Have you ever asked yourself why the major recordings of the hymns of Santo Daime doctrine has so poor quality, and continues to use K7 tapes like main midia?

The answer is simple. Santo Daime is a doctrine based on songs, with its basis made on the hymns received by the creator (Master Irineu) and by the main group that continues his work (Padrinho Sebastião, Madrinha Rita, Padrinho Alfredo, Padrinho Valdete, Padrinho Paulo Roberto, among others). The doctrine is very old, so the tecnology for that time and place (the begining of 20th. century, inside Amazonia) was realy the K7 tapes.

Time passed, tecnology came, but used midia didn't change. Many brothers prefere to use in their cars a "K7 player", instead of a modern CD player, just because there's no "hinários" available in CD. In K7 tapes, otherwise, there are complete colections.

Have you ever tried to find a particular hymn in a set of tapes? First obstacle: to find the correct tape. When you find it, starts that procedure: "a little bit forward", "a little bit backward", "oh, I think that it's on the other side!"...

"Daime CD" proposal is to change this paradigma. Now, everyone may have CD's, with digital quality recording, with lyrics that you can understand very well (if you know a little bit portuguese, of course!), clear, for study and/or personal works. Imagine the new reality: "how is the melody of that hymn of Master Irineu, #27?". Ok, let's pick the right CD, select the sound track and... there it is! Your desired hymn is playing clearly on your stereo at home or in your car, so you can learn it! Besides, it's over 80 contiguous minutes of music, with no necessity to "change the side"...

So, see what we from "Daime CD" are offering for you today about whole and ready-made hinarios, and what is comming soon. Also see what are our projects for the next year. See our page of General Enlightenments, where we expose our ideas about the hinarios distribution and comercialization politics.
